Experimental Investigation of Rubberized Functionally Graded Concrete

چکیده

Concrete is a basic engineering material used for developing modern structures. The properties of structures can be enhanced by using different concrete grades in the same structural element based on its specific requirement functionally graded (FGC). For meticulous critical inspection, an experimental investigation was prosecuted three types (conventional (CC), rubber fiber (RFC) and rubberized (RFGC)), their were compared. fine aggregate substituted (by volume) with waste 5, 10, 15, 20 30% to prepare RFC RFGC. Tests performed samples analyze compressive strength, flexural water permeability, drying shrinkage. Moreover, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) utilized observe microstructures. Results indicated that RFGC better than CC precast applications where high load acts.

Fracture Behavior and Properties of Functionally Graded Fiber-Reinforced Concrete

In concrete pavements, a single concrete mixture design is selected to resist mechanical loading without attempting to adversely affect the concrete pavement shrinkage, ride quality, or noise attenuation. An alternative approach is to design distinct layers within the concrete pavement surface which have specific functions thus achieving higher performance at a lower cost. The objective of this...

Rubberized Concrete: Needs of Good Environment (Overview)

The disposal of used tires is a major environmental problem throughout the world which causes environmental hazards. Crumb rubber is a waste material that is ideal for use in concrete applications. The aim of this study is achieved to use of rubber waste as partial replacement of fine aggregate to produce rubberize concrete in M30 mix. Different partial replacements of crumb rubber (0, 5, 10, 1...
